Well I am excited

Watching Air Force rip off a 72-0 win has gotten me hyped for some good things this year in the Rocky Mountains, I think the Buffs will win big and try to make a statement.

Our most reliable and sure-handed receiver drops two third down passes that would have been first downs. One ends up an INT and even when they screw up, it goes well. That kind of karma evens out over the game.

what happens to Cody? that must be awkward to remain on the team when your dad, the coach, gets cut.

by SoCal12 on Sep 6, 2009 6:31 PM MDT reply actions

the other question is...

do things get awkward at the dinner table because Dan’s inability or refusal to recruit a better quarterback than Cody is a big part of the reason for his demise?

run the option and if they can stop us so be it. we lose.

At this point

The Cody Hawkins QB era is going to be one that people refer to when things get going really well again and we all say “At least we aren’t back in the days of Cody Hawkins” and everyone groans and gives him a +1.

See that? Totally talking myself into the future success.

Coach Hawkins

Did I miss somewhere that Dan Hawkins was a student of Mike Shanahan??? I thought last year was a fluke, but his players execute on the field as poorly as Shanny’s did (on both sides of the ball) and were totally unprepared for a very average team in front of a huge home crowd. That looked like a spring scrimmage… one blown assignment after another… HORRIBLE!!! Another miserable season in Boulder – Thank God most Buffs games are blacked out in KC. What a waste of 3 hours!!!
