because Mack Brown was blitzing into the 4th, and he almost killed Klatt. I’ll never forgive him for that.

I think the Wyoming game will tell you whether Hawkins has truly lost this team.
They will have over a week to rest, think about it, and prepare. If they come out lethargically, they’re gone.
And as a Wyoming alum, I have no idea how to feel about that. The same thing happened when the Cowboys came to Tennessee last year, where the home team just didn’t have any desire to play the game. It’s nice for Wyoming’s win/loss record in the history books, but it makes for a very disappointing game.

I do not know what type of offense or talent Wyoming has, but I do know who is running it. Clearly you guys have some issues stopping the spread, whether it comes from Toledo, Mizzou or other places. Dont get me wrong, I dont know enough about Wyoming to predict anything here, but I am just saying

I can’t tell the difference right now between cycle fatigue and flat-out sloppiness because I haven’t seen them before. But fatigue would look a lot like this.

1. Charlie Strong-UF Defensive coordinators
Could open up some nice recruiting pipelines into the south, have heard only reason he hasn’t gotten a nice job in the SEC is the racists presidents since hes married to a white women. Would love to have some SEC defense speed in Colorado……welll how about some MAC speed right now…..

Yes, it's a five year deal. 2009-2013. Nearly every contract KSU puts together is five years.
It was that way with Prince, Snyder, Huggins, and Frank Martin.

Last year A&M lost to Arkansas State, and the season seemed irreedemable, so I have been there and felt that. I hope things get better for y’all, so take your lumps this season, find a great coach next season and turn things around. Good luck!

Parting thoughts for the Buffs
It will take some time, but it eventually will get better.
The hard part is feeling like you have to root against your own team in order to make firing the coach a no-brainer decision.
I actually was rooting for you guys a little last season. It was weird. Hope I never have to do anything like that again.
Never been
so amp’d up for a season of Buff football and been so let down after 2 games. The light at the end of the tunnel unfortunately is a train.

I started my buff career in 98 and never got to bask in the glory days…..every season has had this kind of epic fail feel to it…even at the fiesta bowl in tempe we all had this harbinger of doom feeling that the magic would be punched out of us at any moment….

Even now that Hawk's firing seems inevitable
Its going to hurt on some level to see him go. Just because I invested so much faith in him. We all did. I firmly believed in an 8 win season. Plus, I just feel straight up bad for the guy. He had great intentions for CU football, and I commend him for that. Unfortunately, he fell short. But I still admire to some point him keeping his son in the game, and never throwing in the towel. I don’t care if he never gave up just for the sake of his career. At least people can’t say CU never quits.
Unless Hawk steps down
He is not going anywhere.

keeping his son in the game? Maybe if cody hadn’t thrown 3 INTs i would agree. Q4 was the spot to get someone else in there. Cody wasn’t getting it done in Q1-4. The sooner they are both out of Boulder the better.

if you’ve actually been watching the games the last 3 years, Cody hasn’t been getting done since day one. Sure, he’s had a few games here and there CSU… 2007?), but really, in the last, say 15 game stretch (!), really has there been anything he’s done that’s spectacular, even once. No. A Big XII program deserves a Big XII QB. And sorry Cody, you’re not it. Even ISU appears to have one. You. Just. ....

embarrassment
that is the only word that comes to mind about the way i have felt these past two weeks. someone in the athletic department has to be as embarrassed as i feel. half of my closet is colorado stuff and i usually walk around UNL’s campus with pride wearing my CU gear. I dont know what i am going to wear for the rest of the semester unless someone lights a fire under someones ass. All i can ask for now is some emotion shown somewhere in the program and to at least compete the rest of the season.
maybe then i dont have to go to class wearing a plain white T

I can’t even believe I am a Buff fan at this point. Never been more embarrassed to represent any of my NFL, NBA, MLB or NCAA teams. I hope Dan Hawkins gets his sh it canned asap. This is unreal. CU football has it rock bottom and I do mean rock bottom. I have been drinking heavily since the end of the game and I don’t blame myself at all. This is as low as it gets. Go straight to hell Hawkins, go straight to hell.
