Paulus named Syracuse starter
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=4406074
I know this has nothing to do with CU football but I have no desire to join the Syracuse site :-) Besides, maybe this will take my mind off Simmons and Kasa for a minute... What do you all think? I think it's pretty cool, of course I should say I love Duke hoops so I was rooting for him but I never expected him to be named a starter at a major college program (Syrcause I know, but still) after one week of practice. I'll definitely be checking out whatever Syracuse games are on TV now so see how he does. He is a really smart guy and a good leader, if his #1 QB prospect, 5-star skills are still intact I bet he does pretty good.

Surprised but not entirely shocked...like
you I am able to overlook the popular idea to hate Duke basketball and realize that this is a pretty amazing feat. Paulus is one heck of an athlete to be able to win the job in a week in arguably the hardest position in all of sports. I think it is good publicity for a Syracuse football program that we would probably not have heard anything about unless it was to talk about how bad they were.
I don’t expect him to light the world on fire but it can’t get much worse for syracuse football so why not?
I know a lot more people will now be tuning into the Syracuse football.

I don't know
MN -6 on week one looks like a lock now.
A guy who hasn’t taken a snap until a few weeks ago? I know he is an athlete but I am still very skeptical. But if you are Cuse then you need to sell tickets however you can. I heard they are scheduling both ND and USC for the new Meadowlands stadium starting in 2012
Hey your missing out
The syracuse site is hilarious. i would reccomend it
