EA Sports NCAA Football 2010

Just wondering if any of the posters on here are regulars online with NCAA Football 09 (and after tonight 2010) on PS3 format?

Looking forward to seeing Tyler Hansen, Darrell Scott (at 4% body fat) and Speedy Stewart this year as well as the road grater O-Line we've built.

Almost as good as the real thing (But still can't wait unitl September!). Go Buffs!

Let down

I have to tell you that the folks at EA really checked the box on this one. They don’t even have the right jersey number on Darrell Scott, which is understandable from the freshman year but downright unforgivable in year two. Hawkins is faster than Hansen in the game and Josh Smith is still on the team. I hung with some guy playing in Georgia Tech in Boulder for about a half but Cody threw three pick-sixes on consecutive drives to start the third to bury me. Scott did run with authority and had a great stiff arm — something I hope translates to the real field this fall.

I'm WAY out of date

I’ve got NCAA ‘08 for the original xbox, but yeah, I remember cody was 80 speed in that game. It’s always way too easy when you have a fast QB. I think I won the heisman 4 years in a row with Cody in dynasty mode. Shows how realistic that game is :-)

You sound surprised

as an avid gamer, EA is one of those game developers that drives me insane because their games don’t change much from year to year. The NCAA franchise, while being my preference over Madden (though it is closer in recent years), has stopped being fantastic for me. The games feel more and more like a “Yeah, a few new minor updates, but this is JUST LIKE LAST YEAR”. Color me unimpressed.
