Support a Former Buff - Mark Simpson Memorial Golf Tournament

Support a good cause in the honor of former Colorado Buffalo, Mark Simpson, a legendary golf coach at the University for 29 years. Simpson lost a battle with lung cancer in 2005. On Saturday, June 20th get some friends together to play in the 2nd Annual Mark Simpson Golf Tournament at the Coal Creek Golf Course in Louisville, Colorado, located at 585 Dillon Road. The Tournament is inspired and sponsored by cancer survivor, Teddi Dingae and will benefit HealthLinks Foundation in honor of Mark.

The HealthLinks foundation was instrumental in Mark's battle. Their goal is to provide financial support, education and community outreach services to promote healthy, active survivorship for cancer patients and their families. The Foundation specifically supports the programs offered by HealthLinks Clinic, a Boulder-based facility who specializes in treating Cancer, lymphedema and Parkinson’s patients. The primary goal of The HealthLinks Foundation is expanding the opportunities for Cancer patients to receive survivorship care. The Foundation needs your support to achieve its mission.

For additional information and to sign up, please contact Teddi at TDINGAE@aol.com or via phone,

Support a Great Cause in Memory of a Great Man

This was an awesome event last year in its innagural year – The golf tournmant is in benefit of an awesome clinic in Boulder – Health Links Clinid. This is a clinic that provides physiscal therapy, and emotional support to cancer patients at all spectrums of the illness. However, some insurances feel this treatment is not important to cancer patients resulting in no coverage for treatment and many have to pay out of pocket – for some this is a large expense and cannot afford it – which results in possibly not getting the necessary healing treatment. Proceeds of the tournament will go towards a fund to support this along with maintaining the high level of service and support Health Links provides it patients. We hope that you can make it out on June 20th to provide your support!
