Add a win to 2007? Alabama To Erase Wins in '05 - '07
I mean, I realize how petty this is, but at this point a win is a win, right?
I don't think the NCAA is going to put a scholarship sanction on the Tide for making textbooks free to athletes. I can't believe they aren't losing scholarships considering the way the NCAA reacted to the Buffs' discounting meals to athletes. Discounting is different than free and I wonder how Alabama is not receiving a like penalty? Here is the story regarding the Buffs from 2007 -irish

I don't think it works that way
Alabama forfeiting wins doesn’t mean that we add wins. We had the same issue with FSU. They would lose wins, but we wouldn’t gain.
Also, yes- I’m amazed that this story isn’t bigger. It must be nice to be a blue blood program.
Vacated Wins =/= Forfeit
It’s really as if the game was never played, in the books there are now two losers.
