2008 Big 12 Champs: Texas!!

According to Tim Griffin:

The Longhorns have claimed the Big 12 title

Here's the Picture of the Wall

I thought this was insane.  I didn't even think someone would let them do this but hey, I guess its there wall.  I could see if they put up a Big 12 South champs since they all 3 were tied but a big 12 champs thats a little too far.  I was thinking about what Mack would say to a recruit when they go by the trophy case and he only has 2 trophies but 3 years listed.  He could let them know that Oklahoma is holding it for him

Man, talk about childish

I thought arrogance regarding how good your football team only happened in Lincoln on a regular basis.

I'm telling you, Texas is the South's Nebraska!

What a bunch of revisionist whiners! That would be like us putting up a National Championship banner for 2001 because we should’ve played Miami instead of watching NU get pummeled.

I’ve felt the same kind of hostility towards UT ever since the 2005 season, running up the score and cheap-shotting Klatt when the game was out of reach. Next to NU, there is no other team in the Big XII I despise more and no other team I’d like to see the Buffs beat than UT. It’ll be a tough task this year, because they may be the best team in the country and are loaded for bear after what happened last year, but they are arrogant enough and we may be good enough to pull a 27-24 on them.

Man, as far as cities go, I really like Austin, very fun, really only decent city in Texas

But that is pretty pathetic from UT.
