he got it right

I also think Andre Gurode has a chance of being up there when it’s all said and done.I can’t wait to see who he picks for Iowa State. Who will win the battle between Seneca Wallace and Sage Rosenfels? Or will it be the other side of the ball with Reggie Hayward or Ellis Hobbs? WE’RE ON THE EDGE OF OUR SEATS.

here are my votes for the other schools:

CU: Branch
Mizzou: Kellen Winslow
Kansas State: Terrence Newman? There’s not much
Kansas: John Riggins (1A: Gayle Sayers)
ISU: Ellis Hobbs (seriously, it’s weak sauce)
Nebraska: Roger Craig (I was going to pick Lawrence Phillips, until I remembered Rae Carruth)

Texas: Earl Campbell
Texas Tech: Zach Thomas
Texas A&M: Yale Lary
Baylor: Mike Singletary
Oklahoma: Troy Aikman (he started there before transferring to Ucla because Switzer was a dick)
Oklahoma State: Barry Sanders

It’s kind of odd that, with all of the tradition and history in the conference, that OSU and Baylor might have the best players ever to come out of the conference (well, Big 8/ SWC respectively)

I don't you take Aikman for OU.

I’m guessing for now it would be Lee Roy Selmon until AD takes over the title.

How about Byron White?

I know he didn’t have a prolonged career in the NFL, but he was a huge star and the league’s highest paid player when he did play and is a member of the 1940s All Decade Team.

His stats, ahem, suck, but the guy was a true ambassador of the sport and there was never any doubt about his ability to dominate on the gridiron. He’s probably be remembered as one of the greatest ever if not for his naval service and political career.

Okay, I admit, it’s a weak argument, but I think he should at least be mentioned.
