CU Basketball: G Shannon Sharpe Makes It Official, Signs Letter of Intent
There wasn't much doubt in this one, Shannon Sharpe has decided to officially join the Buffs. He will be the fourth new player to the team next year and it is not out of the question that Jeff Bzdelik will add one more, especially with G Ryan Kelley leaving the program yesterday.
As for Sharpe, Bzdelik says:
"Our goal during the late signing period was to add a guard who is physical and adds athleticism to our team. Shannon Sharpe fills this need."
For more information on Sharpe, check out some prior statistical info and facts from his past as well as some of his unbelievable YouTube videos.

hopefully we can get another decent player
I won’t get in to the whole Kelley thing, but all these transfers are getting on my nerves a bit, makes you wonder whats going on (especially with a kid who had major family connections to CU athletics).
Don’t know if there is ANY truth to this as my only source is reading about it on another blog, but supposedly Ballanger at least inquired about playing hoops at CU but was told he would have to walk on. Wonder if there is any change now with the extra scholarship open? I know he was Idaho player of the year or something, but who knows if he has talent worthy of a scholarship…
