Hahahaha

Oh wow that would be amazing.

I thought you knew that algebra was all razzamatazz. A Globetrotter always saves the good algebra for the final minutes.

Oh please, bring some Hawk love to Kansas

I would take a strait trade Mangino for Hawkins, I will buy Mangino all the fries and milkshakes he wants.

Rumors

I’ve heard word from some of the top level ku boosters that they are going all out for Patterson. I think they have a shot if he doesn’t go to the Irish. They’ve got money to pay him, fat man recruited well, and he’s a Kansas boy. Grew up there and played/coached at k state. They have some ties to play. Chances are better after he is undefeated and doesn’t get a shot at the NC. So mangino of the over .500 record at a terrible football school gets fired and we keep .300 record Dan… Something smells.

I doubt they get Patterson

and my guess is Turner Gill.

Really??

I’m a little hesitant with that hire myself.

I can understand why.

No Kansas ties and no apparent ties to recruiting in Texas. While proving to be a damn fine head coach, I would think leaving the team after the emotional roller coaster they just went on together would be out of character and ultimately Kansas would have to be viewed as a lateral move, right? They’re likely losing the top WRs in school history, the best QB in recent memory and the program is embroiled in a bunch of controversy right now (I think it has gotten seriously overblown but almost any story these days does). It can’t be the most attractive place to go at this particular moment.

I still say Turner Gill but I have no real reason for thinking that. Just call it instinct.

I think the guy is just a super solid football coach.

He is like a poor man’s Mike Reilly (who I also love).

yep...

honestly don’t think Patterson is on the radar. I’m sure they put feelers out to see if he’s interested but it’s becoming pretty clear he’ll only be leaving TCU for a “top tier” gig. At this point I don’t think he’s on Kansas’ list.

Gary Barnett may try and get a look at that job. There not gonna get a huge name, the job isn’t that great. That’s why it would be a great place for Barnett to get another chance
