All last season we would stick with teams

then kinda fall off halfway through the 2nd. Its going to be huge to see how this team responds after halftime adjustment and during that dead period. I think if we just keep the energy up, we could do this thing.

Gonzaga is going to come out really strong

Bohn tried to schedule a football game at Folsom with them, they cancelled so I guess that $500 – $750K was the backout clause.

When Miami (Oh) backed out of our football game this season

They found us a replacement and agreed to send their basketball team to play us in Boulder. I remember hearing a one-time home game like that usually costs the home team something like $75,000.

Encouraging game

There are some concerns about this team, but overall I was encouraged by the play this afternoon. They didn’t quit, they fough hard and save a few plays (ie Tomlinson’s turnover at the end) this team plays with discipline. The announcers at the end of the game talked about mental state. Gonzaga expects to win games like todays, you have to wonder if the young Buffs hope to win. I look forward to when they figure out how to pull these games out because I think this team has a lot of potential. That coupled with the Big XII being very top heavy, and who knows what they can do this year. I think they will be playing Zona tomorrow and that is very much a winable game considering everyone worth noting from their sweet 16 team is gone. Go Buffs!!
