One more week in the Colorado Buffaloes' 2009 season as they will take on the Nebraska Cornhuskers. The Buffs are 8 point underdogs, the ninth straight week Colorado has been on the wrong side of the line in Vegas. Colorado was favored the first three weeks of the season where they went 1 - 2.

Nothing is worse than a meaningless game against the Cornhuskers and that's what this Friday's contest is. Yes, the players will be playing for pride but this is the first time in three years that the game doesn't have anything riding on it for the Buffs. What makes this year doubly worse is the fact that Nebraska has already clinched a birth in the Big 12 championship against Texas.

Hopefully the Buffs can send the Cornhuskers into the conference championship with a loss.

just beat the huskers…there is nothing else to be gained from this season. i don’t want this rivalry to lose its importance, it should be a priority to kill nu.

Does anyone know

if footballcoachscoop.com is legit. They have an awful lot of breaking news and first reports.

it's been discussed a little on here

I don’t think anybody knows for sure. I guess we’ll find out soon enough…

I think they're full of it

They just print rumors (probably generated on these types of sites) with the hopes of them becoming true so that they can say they were first to report it. That said, I hope some of what they’re writing comes true.

we have been a little weary to put much on the site in regards to what they say...

for all I know, it is a Nebraska fan putting up or emailing headlines to a guy who is publishing as his source.

The fact is no other site has even mentioned anything close to the details they are spitting out which is weird in this day and age.

I think if put up a post that says we want XYZ as the next head coach, they will probably put up a breaking news source that says that Colorado is interested in said XYZ coach.

Want to find out if footballcoachscoop.com is legit?

Easy. Make up the craziest coaching rumor you can. As long as you use names of people they’ve heard of.
Post it on the board with “has anyone else heard this rumor?”

Then copy the post and link and send to FootballCoachScoop and say, “thought you’d want this scoop.”

It will be posted tomorrow.

Let’s say, you could write Cody is graduating early and he will be the new offensive coordinator by February. They’ll post it.

This just in, CU to hire Jerry Glanville to be the next Head Coach

Glanville said he is happy because CU can now change to his favorite color, black, he wil unveil the “Darth Vadar” unifroms at the press conference. Jerry said, “It will be cool, all black, the kids will flock here to be bad ass looking, no numbers or names, just all black with black visors.”

"Duffman is thrusting in the direction of the problem" - Duffman
"Good, bad, I'm the guy with the gun" - Ash from Army of Darkness
