Vote for Jenny Barringer

CU's Jenny Barringer is up for what seems to be a pretty prestigious track and field award called The Bowerman, which is awarded to the top male and female collegiate track and field athletes.  (There's an article about the award on the athletic dept website.) She's currently in second place, and voting ends this Friday morning.  It only takes a few seconds, so go to www.thebowerman.org and help support one of our best student athletes with your vote.

Your Vote REALLY counts

Right now, Jenny has 33% or the vote and the other two candidates are at 34% and 33%.

It’s that close.

Voting ends on the 20th, so get your vote in and counted.

Just voted

and posted the link on my FB page and you should, too, if you have one. This girl is a bad ass. It would be a huge honor for her to win that award.

I voted a couple of weeks ago

But, if I’m not mistaken, our internet votes only account for a third (or something similar to that percentage) of the overall total. Either way, she should win this award b/c she is an amazing athlete, person and student. See coach Hawkins, you can do it right and still win!

Barringer Wins Inaugural The Bowerman

Congratulations to Jenny Barringer!

University of Colorado senior Jenny Barringer needs to make room for one more trophy on her mantle as she was named the recipient of the inaugural The Bowerman award on Wednesday night.
