"CU is so close"...B.S.

It is heartbreaking to hear both coaches and sportscasters saying "we're so close".  What, so close to actually being competitive with the CSU's, Toledo's, K-State's, and Missouri's?  Nevermind actually winning.  The first step in becoming successful is to get rid of the terrible Coach Hawkins.  Boycott the remainder of CU's games to show University Administration how much this coach is really costing them and this once proud and respected program.  There are better middle school coaches right here in the Denver area.  Lest I remind you that during Hawkins term as head coach, CU has a .333 winning percentage...unconsionable!!!

the depths of futility...

why is it that Hawky and his inept OC can’t design running plays for a running QB. At least 7 of those sacks came from TH on a 5 or 7 step drop directly behind center. What happened to those sprint outs they used to like w/Cody. Did you see Hawkin’s lame attempts to pretend to be engaged? What a fraud….nice Oline schemes, Hawky, you have proved again that you are richly ineffective in all facets of coaching.

Recruits were impressed???

What a sad performance, emotionally and physically. Playing at home with very minimal injuries, and to get beat down………again. I wonder what all the recruits that were visiting thought?? Probably….. to check out other D-1 schools.

Not even close to being close

Anyone who thinks this team is just a key win away from unlocking the confidence that lies dormant within the hearts of champions is delusional. Anyone who says this is the case reveals just how unqualified he or she is to evaluate talent, assess the state of this team, make decisions about its direction, or otherwise lead and manage it. Saying anything like that is alone reason to sack whoever said it.

Not even close

to being good. Well Hawk has one thing for him, he is the first coach in CU history to go 4 season without having a winning record. But of course with the money problems at Colorado Hawk will be back next year unless something amazing happens. SIGH.

somethings wrong, Trying to conquer these fears i thought were gone. And it's been so long, I'm dying to live in a world i don't belong
