No Givens today
Ringo via Twitter just now:
Bryce Givens will not play today. Ryan Miller will move over to right tackle. Givens still dealing with personal issues
Seems like Givens has been one of the more heavily penalized O linemen so far this year, so this may be a blessing in disguise.
And apparently Goodman is 50-50 due to an abdominal strain
According to the live chat on Buffzone.

Florida
Anyone else watching this game? The refs are handing it to the Gators
by CleBUFFS on Oct 17, 2009 4:56 PM MDT via mobile reply actions
worst refs ever
Whole line moved, announcers said movement along the line and ……no flag
Should have been Offensive PI in the endzone and no call
A compelte BS call on defensive PI
worst call I’ve ever seen on the unsportsmanlike conduct
Alright here is the real question
Over under
The number of snaps Tyler gets before Cody comes in vs. carries for Darrell Scott?
nice to see Scott get some carries
not sure about the play calls though
My guess is that they don't want to push Hansen
and would love it if they could establish the run
i'm sure your right
I don’t mind running the ball but is Scott the best person to take it to the outside? I would rather see them have him run downfield than sideline to sideline
Espinoza is not playing smart
First punt he should have called for a Fair Catch
and that one he should have cleared out as soon as it hit the ground. We are lucky
I don't understand when you have RB's that you can't get enough touches
why he is still returning punts
soup
I thought you knew that algebra was all razzamatazz. A Globetrotter always saves the good algebra for the final minutes.
There you go
Hitting the TE downfield a bit. Yay first downs.
I thought you knew that algebra was all razzamatazz. A Globetrotter always saves the good algebra for the final minutes.
He does a good job of making the first guy miss
and generally falls forward (even when caught in the backfield)
False start.
This team is atrocious with the false starts.
I thought you knew that algebra was all razzamatazz. A Globetrotter always saves the good algebra for the final minutes.
Ughhh
I hate that play. 3rd and 15 and Hansen takes the easy throw to McKnight instead of looking around.
These flags are killing me
by CleBUFFS on Oct 17, 2009 5:48 PM MDT via mobile reply actions
Pathetic
This is Colo-freakin’-rado – we should be kicking ass instead of playing like an NAIA school.
Sure
3rd and 17 so let’s run a play for our least athletic WR for 1 yard. If that isn’t great coaching, I dunno what is.
I thought you knew that algebra was all razzamatazz. A Globetrotter always saves the good algebra for the final minutes.
Yay!
We made a kick! Nice job, Goodman. I like you, even if you’ve repeatedly proven that you suck.
I thought you knew that algebra was all razzamatazz. A Globetrotter always saves the good algebra for the final minutes.
Hit the upright again...
How many times did he do that last year? I’m thinking none of them went in though
Briscoe
may be a high NFL draft pick, but it won’t be because of his kick return ability. fo sho.

ANYONE
but Sumler, imo.

We'll play
just good enough for Hawkins to keep his job and drag this whole miserable experience out longer. “Well, we won ‘X’ number of games,” “we played Texas tough for a while,” etc.
how did this D get so torched by toledo?
by Rainbow skyline on Oct 17, 2009 6:05 PM MDT reply actions
I do not like Espinoza back there
Seriously…
WTF
We don’t have anyone who can catch and run more than 3-5 yards in a positive direction
Georgia Tech
is playing Vah Tech really tough.
And he had all sorts of time
Cody would have broken down and either forced a throw or would have thrown it away
he isn't glued on one guy
really opening things up
Incredible!
Someone opened the playbook – or Hawkins is letting the OC run the offense – or both!
we're ok
Offense looks pretty good, defense is solid – we look like a different team.
Would like to see some more Scott eventhough I love my OH boy speedy

YES
I love Stewart but we need to establish Scott at some point or he will leave. Let’s see what the guy can do! Am I crazy?
by CleBUFFS on Oct 17, 2009 6:36 PM MDT via mobile reply actions
I've already pretty much accepted #2 is leaving. at least we got speedy.
by Rainbow skyline on Oct 17, 2009 6:37 PM MDT up reply actions
he might be great. he got 90 yds in his one half of action this year. there's clearly something we dont know about
by Rainbow skyline on Oct 17, 2009 6:40 PM MDT up reply actions
Maybe.
This is the same coaching staff who stuck with Little Hawk as long as they did. It took him throwing away a game against Texas for them to lift him.

Just need to finish this half out
and get to the locker room with this lead.

Not even a FG.
Must drop the hammer.

Excellent.
The letdown before the half. If we can keep them out of the endzone, fine. If they score a TD, I’m breaking something.

Aaaand I'm breaking something.

What the hell
Meier gets a wide open TD?
by CleBUFFS on Oct 17, 2009 6:47 PM MDT via mobile reply actions
Right on, we lead at the half!
Go BUFFS!
Dear Rockies - 2009 NL Wild Card Champs. Best turnaround in MLB history for a team to win the Wild Card. Thank you for a wonderful rollercoaster of a season. Can't wait to do it again next year!!
Troy Tulowitzki - THE best SS in the game..nuff said
Yorvit Torrealba - En Fuego!! (when hitting 6th or 7th)
Brad Hawpe- Big Bad Brad, I hope I get to see you in a Rockies uniform again!
Dexter Fowler - prowling CF, WC in his talons, leaping Utley's in a single bound!
As in long for TD
No, but a good 20 yard run and long pass to Simas. Short TD to Geer and a 2 yard TD run.
OK
So, we look pretty decent. Let’s see what happens in the 2nd. Not sure what happened to our D that last drive.
know what's different today?
no killer penalties

Agreed! He looks like a jackass

yes
and this is why i hated Barnett. honestly, such an easy fix in CFB
by BuffulanceMan on Oct 17, 2009 7:41 PM MDT up reply actions
Alright O
Time to get momentum back…..
We need a long drive to let the defense rest and keep stupid Reesing on the bench

i don't feel that
think it just a bump
by BuffulanceMan on Oct 17, 2009 7:44 PM MDT up reply actions
ok
ku is driving, obvously.
however, it’s lucky/random plays. i still say, w/o further tos, win win this game
Question about that Fake Punt???
There were lineman down field… you cant throw that shit, should have been a penalty right????
so which team made halftime adjustments?
same thing every f***ing week
by Rainbow skyline on Oct 17, 2009 7:53 PM MDT reply actions
this would be a really awesome new way for cu to punch us in the stomach
…..losing after getting ahead and looking dominant
I hate this
Same things every week! And the announcers are terrible.
At least Hansen looks good but our coaches are holding him back.
Someone has to ask Hawk how Riddle is still employed
by CleBUFFS on Oct 17, 2009 8:00 PM MDT via mobile reply actions
Finish the 4th Quarter Buffs
Makes the plays and stop the stupid penalties
You can win this thing
by TraderJesse on Oct 17, 2009 8:02 PM MDT reply actions 1 recs
In his breadbasket and wide open.
Hansen bought tons of time.
Sumler should never see the field
Its a shitty thing to say… but there are three guys who are head and shoulders better
beautiful touch
I could have caught that pass to sumler
by DeepPurple on Oct 17, 2009 8:04 PM MDT reply actions 1 recs
ughhhhh
So painful to watch. We need the D to step up once again. Double Meier and rush the QB. This looks like my Browns except the game would be 6-3

I think they might have a link to
live audio as well somewhere.
It is on TV here in the SF Bay area though
first halves almost don't matter.
the other team makes adjustments, we don’t and we implode. hawk simply cannot coach.
by Rainbow skyline on Oct 17, 2009 8:11 PM MDT reply actions
did we just give up on blitzing?
I guess it was just so successful in the first half we decided to stop.
2nd half
We’ve had the ball for what, two minutes? We need a drive.
by CleBUFFS on Oct 17, 2009 8:12 PM MDT via mobile reply actions
He took one of them from seven yards deep
I wish he wouldn’t have taken it out, but he did and put it out past the 30 or 35
I used to think our talent sucked....
…..but we played a good first half these days…..
Then the kids get out-coached because our coach seems to do nothing
someone made a catch!!!
in seriousness, Hansen is awesome
