Like I posted in the first half thread, love the opportunity, love the chance. Now is Dan Hawkins time to step up and be the motivator. Texas got some momentum back before half there but if Dan Hawkins wants to be our coach for the future, this halftime speech and his staffs adjustments will dictate that. Mack Brown will make his adjustments, can Dan Hawkins match it? Can Dan Hawkins make his team believe at halftime that they can win this game like the Texas coaches will? It is judgement time...30 minutes to prove yourself right now...answer the bell Hawkins and answer the bell Buffs!

we're mediocre for sure...
but I also think the ISU size and experience up front on offense got the better of Kansas. CU has the size for sure to give us trouble in the running game.

ISU’s line has been very good all year and it showed today as well.

ya isu has consistantly been running the ball well this year
just the passing game has been a bit off in the previous games (espec. iowa). i think they showed huge improvement in that aspect of the game. the timing on the short passes seemed alot better this week. the defense, well thats another story…

I was impressed with what I saw...
the whole Directv Versus dispute left me in the dark for a half but the Cyclones showed up to play that’s for sure. Honestly we were fortunate to escape…a couple inches shorter on that last throw and we probably lose that one.

the blocked punt and the missed field goals this year have been bad
but kickoff returns and overall the punts have been much improved…
bottom line, the offense blows big nuts

they are tackling well and getting good angles/reads. UT still has over 260 total offense though
