DE Nosa Eguae Decommits From Colorado
Check out the Rivals.com Front Page. No more Nosa Eguae. If the Diante rumor is true then the Buffs possibly are down to eight commits. If JUCO WR Andre Simmons doesn't qualify, we could be down to seven. I just named three of the Buffs top recruits this cycle. It also magnifies the problem at defensive line. Can't call this a total surprise as we have been rumoring Eguae's decommitment for a while now with the help of the lead writer over at the Texas A&M blog, I Am The 12th Man.
It hasn't been the best Friday, that is for sure.

Rumor regarding Diante...?
Are you referring to the reciever?

wow...
recruiting is just a brutal business…fortunately the one KU got from NU today will be enrolling in a couple days so we should be good on that one…of course they snagged him from us about a month and a half ago first.
as far as Diante…be interesting to see how that pans out, he’s probably getting a full court press from Oregon since making the switch. You also mention Simmons, how likely is it he doesn’t qualify. I know KU backed of him fairly early on, wondered if there was a connection.

The track record for JUCO's
being able to qualify at CU is horrible. Shaun Mohler, our starting LB, went through 8,000 hoops on fire to get through the admission process because CU doesn’t accept a lot of junior college classes. Who knows, he may have the right classes but I am not holding my breath.

Well then K-State must be the
anti CU then…they sign more JUCO’s than anybody I can think of.

Ughh!
I wasn’t super high on Nosa, but not looking forward to Diante heading up here to Oregon, Hawkins better come up with some magic in the next few days.
Amazing what a year difference makes.

Best part of that story
imo is the part about Katoa. This is the first thing we’ve seen regarding him that has a real positive vibe to it.
I am Jack's unbridled optimism.

Nice piece
It’s exciting to think of the contributions these guys can make IF they can get on the field. Especially Simas, Burney, Major, MTM, Tau and Katoa. The flipside is that, if Hawk is putting this kind of story out there he’s acknowleding that there are some serious issues with this recruiting class and he’s trying to give us BUFF faithful something to stay positive about. YIKES! Go BUFFS! 10 wins NO EXCUSES!
