Not a bad week for the Utes; win the Sugar Bowl in convincing fashion, everyone is saying you are the true National Champion and you get the #1 run stopper in the nation in Heimuli. Another one of those players like Jordan Wynn where Buff fans will have to say, "see you in 2012."

This is no good mainly because Florida was recruiting Latu as well so now Edward Nuckols becomes a bigger priority for the Gators. The issue with defensive line just won't go away.

I'm wondering...

with the departure of Utah’s o-coordinator to K-State if Bill Snyder doesn’t make a run at Jordan Wynn??

Some people are like Slinkies...not really good for anything but they make you smile when pushed down the stairs.

Wynn has too good a chance to play for Utah to switch

plus it would be hard to turn down a chance to play for a BCS caliber team.
Utah should be strong against next year if they can replace Johnson. The defense should be superb

All the more reason

we should have dumped that CSU game and scheduled an annual opener against the Utes

I'm in favor of that

Long before I was born, Utah and Colorado used to play each other every year and had a bit of rivalry. The two are scheduled to play in 2012 & 2013. I’d be great to get a longer series going.

DT

So who’s left that’s looking at CU? Nuckols (obviously huge to land him), Adam Alaya? (not sure how good he is) and the kid from hawaii Tokolahi. Tokolahi looks to have good size and some speed to boot. We really need to land a stud or two. Anyone have any insight on any of these kids?

Iuta Tepa

same school as Stan McKay would be another one…he would be a huge get. We will probably get Alaya…Nuckols is the key to the whole deal. Hawkins, hopefully, is visiting bi-daily, renting the place next to Nuckols house and focusing solely on him.
