"What we're hearing now is 'You can't play there, because there are too many players' and the one thing about it, when we recruited Percy Harvin not one time did he ask me how many receivers did we have," Meyer said. "[Tim] Tebow wasn't concerned who the other quarterbacks were. There are some players that would rather go somewhere and start and go to bad bowl games and not play in a game like this. There are other players that would like to go to an Oklahoma or a USC. Those are the kind of players we like."

Florida coach Urban Meyer in an article that mentions Florida decommits like Nick Kasa, etc. It is cool that Kasa gets a mention in Sports Illustrated, it would have been better if it was about him as a player rather than Meyer talking about losing players. Yes, it is a slow day!

Stay classy, Urban

way to act like a grown up. Oh, and Emmanuel Moody transferred to Florida because of the RB depth chart at USC, so you just took a shot at your own player, schmuck.

Wow, Urban Meyer was a coach I had respected a lot

But crying cause someone decides to stay in state and help build his home town program is weak, it’s not like we are poaching guys from Florida. I understand not wanting to loose kids, but seems like he is a little arogant regarding Florida. I don’t see Pete Carrol crying when slick rick steals a USC recruit.

He forgot his roots...

This guy used to coach at Utah and BG. He used to probably beg guys to stay home, instead of go to the big boy programs…now he is insulting those same kids. Smooth…

speaking of which

Former USC commit Byron Moore will be visiting CU – see http://colorado.scout.com/a.z?s=148&p=9&c=6&yr=2009

Rivals says he cancelled on LSU to visit CU

ESPN reports that teammate Josh Moten loved his visit and is now deciding between us and UDub. I wonder if Moten got in Moore’s ear a little? For the sake of optimism, let’s assume yes.

That would be huge.

I would love to take both of these guys.

Awesome

That would be a great pick up, glad Moten enjoyed his time.

Interesting he is listed as no interest, why book a trip this late in the game if he has no interest

because Scout kind of sucks

They listed Cliff Harris as interested, even though he wasn’t, and they’ve still got Te’o listed as interested, even though he isn’t. Rivals has Moore at medium interest in us, Notre Dame, and Cal. Cal stole one of our safeties. REVENGE!

getting a last visit for a player of Moore's caliber is

unbelievable. Even if we are in third place, Hawkins has the ability to work his magic in the last week. Not Weis, Not Carroll. I wish he visited with his teammate Josh Moten but it is amazing that he dropped LSU for us.

Huge!

hopefully both players want to go to the same school and continue playing together. maybe that is true, in which case, would hopefully put colorado at the top of the list for both of them
