"At Colorado, they graduate a lot of their defensive backs and same with Hawaii. Both schools said that I would have a chance to come in and play early but with UCLA, I just need to figure out this grey shirt thing because I don't fully understand it. I like UCLA a lot, it's my dream school but if I'm not comfortable with the grey shirt offer, I'll probably just end going to Colorado."

wow, doesn't sound too excited about CU
but hey if he doesn’t like the grey shirt, we would love to have him here
Sounds like Slick Rick may be trying to squeeze in a few too many
Just like Saban and Davis have done recently. Hopefully it bites him in the ass this time.

Grayshirting sucks, Stan!
If you go to UCLA, you won’t be able to even enroll as a student until next January (i.e., after football season), and then maybe play the following year. You’re better than that, so why not be a star and make an immediate impact THIS YEAR at CU?
Slick Rick will burn you McKay
I know UCLA is the dream school, but CU is a school that will love you. Come on down to CU buddy.

I do feel for the kid
I mean I hope that we get him. He will be a great addition to the team. It is kind of hard when your “dream” school says “Hey here is your offer but we won’t need you to show up on campus for a year from now.” He is ready to compete and ready to play. Hey Bronceman….they always say “If you play with fire you always get burned!!” LOL
Don't give up your dreams
I agree with roxbombers, he didn’t seem too excited about CU. If his dream is UCLA then he should go there even if he sits out this coming fall. Usually when people settle for less then what they want, they are unhappy, and I think CU would be better off with a player that wants to be here and be a Buff. Maybe he will make his trip to UCLA this weekend and find out it’s truely not his “dream school”. Either way, if he does come here, I hope it’s with the desire to play football as a Colorado Buff.
One thing I wish I could be is a fly on the wall to hear the crap that comes out of slick Rick’s mouth when he tells the young man why he shouldn’t go to Colorado.
