• Look for NU to announce a long-term series with Wyoming soon, with the first game to be a Cowboys home game set in Denver's Invesco Stadium.

I don't know how I feel about that

There will probably be about 75,000 Nebraska fans and 1,000 Wyoming fans at a Cowboys “home game.” Remind me to stay away from downtown that weekend.

Denver has a huge NU alumni base and that will be a home game for the Huskers as well but...

I’m not so sure a game in Laramie wouldn’t have the same result

True, they just want 75K Nebraska fans not 30 or 40

Money talks...

It’s strange how some of these series are occuring K-State and Iowa State are now going to play a set of games in Arrowhead in Kansas City…First off this isn’t a rivalry or anything and second off…well why…a sure thing in terms of money…If I were an Iowa State fan I would be pissed, you just took one of my home games and moved it 4 hours away and into a strong alumni base for my opponent…That said Iowa State fans are a good group and do travel to KC well for BBall and I’m sure they will do the same for football but it still doesn’t seem right…I can understand taking some games to a neutral site but when you try to manufacture a rivalry in a big stadium and take your going to ruin the atmosphere of College Football.

Yeah, I'm more annoyed by this now...

Small teams like Iowa State and Wyoming will screw themselves for all-mighty dollar and lose out on home games for their team. I would not be happy if I was a Wyoming fan. War Memorial Stadium holds 30,514 and it would no doubt sell out with all the NU fans coming to town, but that isn’t good enough for them. Instead they move a big home game 150 miles away (and I doubt their fans travel very well, they’ll have WAY less fans in Denver than in Laramie) to ANOTHER STATE so they can make some more money.

College football should be played in college football stadiums, not sterile NFL ones that aren’t in the state of either team that is playing. Very lame Wyoming, very lame…

Screw NU

let those 2 have games in their own states. I dont like NU fan as it is, I dont want them soiling a great stadium like Invesco.

I agree, make them play out in a wheat field by DIA.

That is cheap by Nebraska

Come on Nebraska, I was impressed when you had scheduled the likes of USC, but now Nebraska has reverted to the Nebraska way and scheduled cream puffs and devised a way to fill up their coffers in the process, I am surprised they didn’t schedule Tulane to play in the Superdome so they could get Nebraska fans there. Yes, I know Nebraska fans travel, because lets face it, would you want to be stuck in Lincoln for the weekend or in Denver. Hopefully the DPD will get rich busting Husker fans for DUIs after the game.
