Eddie Crowder
A Colorado Buffalo coaching legend has passed away today. Coach Crowder roamed the sidelines from 1963-1973. He had a 67-49-2. With a high point in 1971 when the Buffs finished 10-2 and a #3 ranking just behind Nebraska and Oklahoma who were 1 and 2 respectively. Coach Crowder was also the AD from 1965 until 1986. He was responsible for the hiring of Bill McCartney. He was a great coach, AD and person. I for one am saddened as a member of the Buffalo family has passed on.

Definitely a sad day...for both OU and CU fans.
You can read the article in today’s Buff Bites as well.

didnt see that
He had recruited 2 of the 4 CU players that are in the college hall of fame, Booby and Dick Anderson. I just wanted to put a tribute to him. Plus I also think his 1971 team was vastly underrated and one of the best in CU history
