New Blog: Once A Metro covering Red Bull New York!

This is Stan McKay's teammate from the dominant California program, Long Beach Poly. He would be a major get for the Buffs. Would need to put on weight but has the speed to really wreak havoc in the backfield.

According to ESPN

"I have visits set with Hawaii (Jan. 9), Oregon (Jan. 16), Colorado (Jan. 23) and UCLA (Jan. 30). I'm looking for the best football program, a school with strong academics and support and a place I can play at early."

Kid sounds like he has a motor that doesn’t quit if you read his bio. He’d be a great pick up for the buffs. Also, if you read the rest of the blog is sounds like Nuckols has dropped Florida. That leaves CU and Arizona to slug it out for him (i’d puke if we lost him to arizona of all places). LB Michael Clay also has CU in his final two. Yesterday was a better recruiting news day for our Buffs!

great post

irish, great post as usual!! We are in some serious battles but it sounds like these guys are really wanting to be apart of the CU program. Once again Oregon is on someones list of finalists. They have been thorn in our sides. Does it hurt that they were on TV last night?

Re: great post

It definately hurts CU in recruiting. Any year you aren’t bowl eligable is bad. Not being able to win 6 games is bad, especially for CU. Not getting the national coverage is bad. A big name school we are duking it out with for recruits pulling off an upset in a big bowl game is bad. Not the end of the world but certainly doesn’t help.

on the flip side

It show kids that we need an upgrade in positions that they can fill. It’s all on how you spin the CU season, you can make it work for you and against you. This is where the coaching staff earns their money on selling CU!
