Around SBN: Celtics, Heat Score On Purpose In Super Sunday Wins

The SEC is officially the what have you done for me lately conference.

According to ESPN.com:

Auburn coach Tommy Tuberville, who won 85 games and one SEC championship in 10 seasons, won't return as the Tigers' coach in 2009, multiple sources close to the situation confirmed on Wednesday.

The decision was made after Tuberville met with Auburn athletics director Jay Jacobs for the second time in as many days on Wednesday.

Under the terms of Tuberville's contract, Auburn will owe him $3 million in the next 30 days and an additional $3 million within one year.

Auburn has unofficially reached out to Mike Leach and Bobby Petrino.

My question is who would now want this job? Have one bad year after a bunch of good ones and get fired?

I'm sorry but for everyone who thinks CU fans are too hard on Dan Hawkins...our fans and expectations are nothing compared to this.

Tuberville's last 5 years in the SEC:
13-0
9-3
11-2
9-4
5-7

My comment was lost

I had one before, it was essentially to the tune of Tennessee and Auburn’s fans being unrealistic and this being a Nebraska type of situation where they may have had a couple of down years but they are setting themselves up to continue heading in the wrong direction. This one surprises me more than the UT one also because there have been anti-Fulmer rumblings for a while and also who is it they think they are going to get? Meyer and Saban have created a quick fix mentality in the SEC but I just don’t see either one of these moves working like that especially because Meyers and Sabans don’t just fall from the trees.

Phil Fulmer!

Or… even more ironically, Bowden (of the formerly Clemson variety)
