As an add on to the post yesterday, Diante Jackson and Michael Clay will join DE Nick Kasa, OL Nik Abele and OL Latu Heimuli at today's game against Iowa State. There might be 2 - 4 more as well that we don't know about yet.
Here is what we have written about Diante in the past. He loved CU and has been to Boulder on an unofficial before. The week before he was supposed to come for his official (the Texas game), Jackson said he was sick and committed to Oregon. Since, he has been wavering a little bit on his commitment to the Ducks. This guy is high on life in the moment. He talks highly of everything so it is hard to get a read on things but the fact that he committed and then came back to CU is a good sign. Unless of course he wants a free trip but as we are seeing with CU commit DE Nosa Eguae right now, nothing is set in stone until that paper is signed. Oregon and CU are probably the only two schools in the running for Diante.
LB Michael Clay from California is a little bit hard to gauge because ESPN hasn't rated him, rivals has him as a 3* and scout loves him with a 4*. He measures 6'0" 215lbs and runs a 4.7 forty so he has good speed. From watching his tapes, he is a good hitter and athletic, needs a little technique work. He is very capable of playing safety which the Buffs need. Oregon and Cal are probably the leaders in the clubhouse right now on Clay because of his close PAC 10 proximity. I would put CU at third on the list right now. Here is a highlight video of Clay that will get you going:
