The dirty horse collar tackle by Texas A&M LB Von Miller that broke the leg of Buffs leading rusher, RB Rodney Stewart.
Texas A&M coach Mike Sherman offers his condolences:
"I've voted on this in the National Football League, and we really grabbed it (rule prohibiting horse-collar tackles) because players were breaking their legs," said Sherman, a former Green Bay Packers head coach. "I feel terrible that young man broke his leg with a horse-collar tackle."

It's an unfortunate play
but if you actually expect him to kick the guy off the team for that, you’re nuts. If he runs around and horse collars guys consistently, then that’s one thing, but one play like that isn’t justification for being kicked off the team. Just cool down there, champ. If D.J. Williams had done it to someone, you know Raiders fans would be pissed off, but you couldn’t honestly expect anything to come of it except a fine. As they say, “Gear down, big shifter.”
