Senior offensive lineman Matt Slauson, who previously lived in Colorado Springs, spoke Tuesday to reporters of an "extreme distaste" for the Buffaloes .
"When you think Big 12 schools, you think Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas," said Slauson, adding that the Buffs "just seem irrelevant to me."
Realizing what had just popped out, Slauson said: "Boy, that’s billboard material."
I can't tell which I have a bigger problem with: the Buffs irrelevant or mentioning Nebraska in the same sentence as Texas and Oklahoma.

I can't tell what's dumber...
…saying something like that, or saying that it’s “billboard” material.

Hell hath no fury
like good ole’ Eyeblack scorned, apparantly. If you read the whole article, it’s easy to see why he doesn’t like CU. GB was a “Johnny Come Lately” when Slauson had a growth spurt while at the AFA prep school (yeah… GB didn’t exactly have the greatest tact. A kid from Air Academy should have been an easy pull for GB considering his coaching career background). That said, I’ve been through both facilities and I can see why the FB program at Lincoln appeals to recruits, but it doesn’t change the fact that their players and fans are a bunch of condecending, arrogant ***holes. Best fans my eye.

Oh, well
If that was the case then we would of dropped the academic requirements to allow all the idiots in, Nebraska and K-State have that market cornered though.
Damn dirty water thieves!
