College Football Rankings OUt

Well, the pollsters have spoken and OU convinced'em all. Not only did OU jump Texas in the AP poll but they also jumped Florida in the USA Today poll to get to #2. See the widget below and you can toggle to see the different rankings. The BCS polls should be out later today and that is the only ranking that matters but you will probably see OU #2 there as well. If that is the case, OU will play OSU for a chance to represent the South in the Big 12 championship. For a look at the world coming to an end, check out Burnt Orange Nation. The widget below will update with BCS standings when they become available.

Thats the game I'm expecting, should be a good one

I don’t know, I totally understand why Texas would be upset, but I think OU is the better team. Hey Texas! You shouldn’t of lost to Tech, sorry!

Maybe they’ll play USC in some other BCS bowl and we’ll have a split national championship.

OU still has not beat a decent team away from home

Washington (worst D-1 team), Baylor, A&M, Kansas St (three of the 5 worst teams in the Big 12) – which do you think is their most impressive win away from home? I guess it’s just the luck of the draw, they get all their tough games at home except one on a neutral field, which they lose by 10.

Well neither have you

Tech and Texas both FAILED their road game tests. Oklahoma wins in Stillwater (beating a team that you could barely handle at home) and they are the only one of those three with a big road win this season.

We haven't beaten a decent team away from home???

Oklahoma anyone? I seem to recall beating them by double digits on a neutral field…

Yep, neutral field.

What’s you best ROAD win? A very average Kansas team? Nope, you failed the one road test you had this year.

It's too bad the Big 12 North is a total joke

Just let OU and Texas play again in the Big 12 championship. I don’t think Mizzou will mind not being there.
