Another Black Eye for CU

OK, I am getting a little annoyed at the student body, first it was rushing the field after the WVU win, I can excuse, a lot of hype and a little too much beer, then was the Texas game and throwing shirts on the field, and now we have the laser incident at the OSU game (see link here: CU Laser).

Come on, I don't know how much of the student body reads this or not, but if you do, please show some freaking class and carry yourself and the University you go to in a higher regard.  I know this is an "isolated" incident, and really I am not so much angry at the jerk off who did this, but more at the idiots sitting next to him who didn't kick his ass.  This isn't clever or funny, just stupid and retarded.  You are at a University, this is not Community College or High School.

I know the CU student body is made up of a fair amount of transplant Californians with trust fund money to waste and see the CU football game as a place to go act like idiots rather than actually care about the freaking school, team, game or state you represent.  I would still ask that the student body start looking each other in the eye and asking are you here to be drunk or are you here to actually show some school spirit and cheer for the Buffs.  Trust me, if all you are in it for is the party then stay freaking home and get drunk and stoned there, if you are here to support your school and classmates, then show some class when attending the games.  I rather have 30,000 fans who really are interested in cheering for the Buffs and showing some maturity, than 60,000 drunk idiots making a national spectacle of themselves, you all can go to Burning Man if you want to do that.

Trust me when I say this, if you really want a great team, then you need to be great fans.  Recruits are going to see how you act and decide maybe i should go somewhere where the fans care and the fans know what D-I football is about, somewhere with tradition and honor, and if they see their potential classmates acting like fools, then they are going to head somewhere else.
