The Buffs basketball team takes on the Montana State Bobcats from the Big Sky Conference. The Buffs are 1 - 0 coming off a 20 point win last Friday against Arkansas Pine Bluff. The Buffs showed great balance and a strong shooting effort, something they hope to continue tonight against MSU. The Cats come in 0 - 1 after a close loss to a decent Nevada team. Here is a review of the Buffs first win and a preview of the Buffs opponent tonight. Go Buffs!

I think the fact that he took so long to pull the trigger most of us

thought he was headed to Memphis but there was always hope and you just expect you would get a kid like that…he grew up on KU bball for crying out loud…it’d be like if…oh I don’t know, Alfred Williams’ kid decided to go to Nebraska instead of CU and was the top fball recruit in the county.

and if they get x amount of new subscribers, he gets paid. Gets access to all recruits numbers and info. pretty sweet gig for a college guy

Here's the thing...

Bzdelik has pretty much cleaned house and has his own guys in finally, but it’s going to take a little bit of time to develop the talent. My expectation with him is that he isn’t the type of guy that is going to make a HUGE splash recruiting and bring in a game changer instantly like Huggins did at KSU, but Bzdelik will get good players in there and coach em up, develop what he has and that’s how he will ulimately be competitive.

and I think that’s what CU needs. Patton recruited as well as anyone at CU but had no scheme/coaching ability.
