Early Big 12 Lines/Spreads

No Buffs this week which means no heart breaking lines to look at. But the biggie is this week. From what I saw from OSU this week, I think if OU beats Texas Tech, Oklahoma is representing the Big 12 South in the Big 12 Championship Game, which unfortunately is at the worst stadium in the world: Arrowhead. They should play it at Mile High. Big city, great stadium, people actually would look forward to coming here. Now people must travel to the play on the spray painted Arrowhead Stadium because apparently they haven't heard of sprinklers or modern technology. Play in Dallas, play anywhere but Kansas City. I digress.

Only two games this week in the Big 12, don't know if anyone would watch KState Iowa State so really only one game...good, now we can devote all our attention to OU vs Texas Tech.

Kansas St (-10) vs. Iowa State - Wow, same line as the Buffs. Are we in that much trouble against Nebraska?

Oklahoma (-6) vs Texas Tech - Apparently playing in Norman is worth six points. A banged up defense in OU. Norman must be magical or something. Hard not to take Tech with all those points.

Agree

Yea I think OU is going to handle Tech this weekend. Tech honestly has only played one really good team all year (Texas), played the game of their lives and still barely escaped with that one (plus it was at home, as was OSU). Despite Tech’s great season I still think Texas and OU are better than everyone else in the South by a fair margin, and expect that OU will show that on Saturday. But it will certainly be a shootout. I am a bit torn on that one also because although I am not a fan of Tech, I really do not want to see Texas get back into the Nat’l Champ game (I live in Dallas, Texas fans are the most annoying people on earth), which seems very possible/probable if Tech loses.

not included here but

with only two big 12 games i’m looking out of conference.

I thought I saw that Boise State is -6 at Nevada, seems very low. I would have guessed double digits.

I think the Tech/OU game is too close to call, I wouldn’t be really confident in whichever side I picked. As far as KSU and ISU why would anyone subject themselves to watching that garbage.
