Andre Simmons Makes It Official
The four star wideout from Independence Junior College has given his verbal commitment to the Buffs.
Simmons is still being courted by Kansas, Kansas State, and Missouri as well as Arkansas, Arizona and others. He will still take some more visits to check things out but he plans on being a Buff.
Hopefully their are no issues with him qualifying. Other juco commits that CU has gotten (PT Gates) have often struggled to qualify. If he makes his way to Boulder he is going to really be able to open it up for CU and provide our offense with another playmaker.
Simmons is a 6'3'', 205 pound receiver and runs a blazing fast 4.45 forty yard dash. If Hawkins can secure Diante Jackson, this will be a special wide receiver class. Combine that with current Buffs Josh Smith, Markques Simas and Scotty McKnight and Colorado might finally join the Big 12 in their aerial onslaught on the rest of the nation.

I agree about the qualifying
Didn’t Moehler have some issues over the summer also. I always get scared when I see that K-State has the guy on their radar.

Mohler had to go through a torturous gauntlet
Had to pass 10 extra classes this past spring and summer in order to earn the right to wear a Colorado uniform. Glad he did, he is a top 5 player on this Buffs team
