Buffs Land Jack of All Trades, RB/S Parker Orms

According to Scout.com, Colorado prep Parker Orms has committed to the Buffs. Orms, who plays at Wheat Ridge H.S., visited last night at the Oklahoma State game. CU was the highest profile offer for the 2* S/RB. Other schools to offer Orms was UNLV and Wyoming. He also had looks from Boise State, Kansas State and CSU. Parker is small at 5'11" 180 lbs but is fast, running a 4.4 forty according to Scout.com. I think he will be a Chase McBride return guy. I just don't know if he will ever be big enough. But he is a player with speed and he has racked up some impressive stats this year on both sides of the ball. Orms has averaged 12.8 yards per carry while rushing for 2,128 yards and 23 touchdowns. He has also caught 15 balls for 260 yards and two scores. The last two years, Orms has averaged 115 tackles. He projects as a safety at the next level. Mixed opinions on Orms. ESPN has him ranked as the 56th best safety in the country and they love his playmaking ability. They have him tied as the best recruit the Buffs have got this cycle. Rivals doesn't have him ranked and scout ranks him 114th at the safety position. Hope ESPN Is right on this one. Congrats on being a Buff!
