CU Holds Kicking Tryouts! Buff Bites

In a Mike Leach-like move, desperation has now found the Buffs 10 games into the season. Coach Riddle and Hawkins held tryouts for the student body to try and find a field goal kicker according to the Daily Camera. Unlike Texas Tech, the Buffs were not able to find a replacement. Hilarious that is what we have come to,

Oklahoma State running back Kendall Hunter has been name a semifinalist for the Doak Walker Award which honors the top running back in the nation. Hunter, one of the main threats of this Cowboy team, is currently ranked 4th in the nation in rushing and is the dominant back in the Big 12. He currently has 500 more yards than the second ranked running back in DeMarco Murray. Hunter also has 13 touchdowns and averages 6.69 ypc. Hunter has been very consistent, rushing for 100 yards 8 times this season, including that games which Oklahoma State lost. Buffs priority #1: Stop Hunter.

It is sort of depressing that CU beat Texas Tech and could have beaten Alabama last year in their bowl game. Those teams skyrocketed and the Buffs, well, they look to be a below .500 team.

What???? Will There Be Empty Seats For Bedlam?

An Oklahoma State ticket policy may leave thousands of seats empty when the Cowboys host Oklahoma in what is shaping up to be one of the biggest football games of the year.

Under the policy established earlier this year, the only way fans can get a ticket to the OU-OSU game is to buy season tickets.

No single game tickets to the Nov. 29 Bedlam game will be sold.

The CU women's soccer team has made the NCAA tournament for the 6th straight year as they will face South Dakota State University in Minnesota this Friday. The Buffs have a four seed after losing to Missouri in the Big 12 championship game.

Damn

The kicking game is really just so frustrating this year. For a team that has trouble getting points, you really want to be able to get some FGs when you drive it deep, but the touchdown or bust mentality this year is just impossible. Seems nothing will get better this year unless Goodman or Davis somehow turns it around but hopefully the coaches will make this a priority next year as we can’t continue like this.

That OU-OSU empty seat article is weird

I bet they’ll have some sort of policy change before the game. What, did they expect to sell enough season tickets to fill the entire stadium for that game? How many tickets was OU given? I guarantee they sold their entire allotment, and probably some OU fans will buy “season tickets” just to go to that one game. OSU’s attendance is pathetic as it is (particularly since they have such a good team this year), the last thing they need is to be on national TV with 15,000 empty seats. Stupid…
