Oklahoma State running back Kendall Hunter has been name a semifinalist for the Doak Walker Award which honors the top running back in the nation. Hunter, one of the main threats of this Cowboy team, is currently ranked 4th in the nation in rushing and is the dominant back in the Big 12. He currently has 500 more yards than the second ranked running back in DeMarco Murray. Hunter also has 13 touchdowns and averages 6.69 ypc. Hunter has been very consistent, rushing for 100 yards 8 times this season, including that games which Oklahoma State lost. Buffs priority #1: Stop Hunter.
It is sort of depressing that CU beat Texas Tech and could have beaten Alabama last year in their bowl game. Those teams skyrocketed and the Buffs, well, they look to be a below .500 team.
