Texas Jumps 'Bama, Ranked #1 in AP
Didn't see that one coming. I look at 'Bama's schedule though and I don't really see them losing. The toughest game on the schedule is LSU and we saw what happened to them. Suddenly, the SEC doesn't look so tough does it.
Also ranked was Oklahoma who fell to #4 still ranked ahead of Florida and USC which is applaudable as OU should not be impacted by losing to a good Texas team later than USC and Florida lost. Texas Tech (#7) was lucky they didn't drop almost losing to the Corn. Oklahoma State jumped to 8th from 17 and Mizzou dropped to 11th from 3rd. Kansas stayed at 16 but there days are probably numbered in the top 25 as I can easily see them going 2 - 4 in the next 6.

Appreciate the optimism for the Jayhawks =D
Personally, I’m hoping for 3-2 in the next 5 w/a shot at the North going into arrowhead…will be very tough though
Some people are like Slinkies...not really good for anything but they make you smile when pushed down the stairs.
wow was I wrong
Thinking OU was clearly superior and that Mizz was going to end up in the Nat’l championship.
I was thinking the same thing as you...
it was a rough weekend for my college football knowledge.

At least I was right about Mizzou and Florida
but I would have much rather been right about the Sooners…

Any chance Mizzou beats Texas this weekend?
